At Morristown Animal Hospital, the health and safety of our clients, patients and employees are top of mind amid concerns during this global pandemic.
We want to share information about how we continue to operate safely and effectively with a new tool in our pocket!
Video Chat with your Vet
We now offer virtual exams at select times! Even if you cannot make it into the office, we are still able to provide care for your pets.
Set up a virtual appointment with us on the Airvet app for your re-checks, prescription refills and minor ailments--and to get fast and reliable answers via video call and chat.
After hours, we are still here for you! You can use Airvet to speak with a licensed veterinarian who will assist you in determining whether your pet needs to visit an emergency hospital.
Steps to get started:
- Download Airvet in the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also click here to download.
- Create an account and when prompted, select Morristown Animal Hospital
- Select the veterinarian in our office the day of your exam
- Add your Pet (cute photo opportunity!)
- From the Main Menu choose your pet
- Select My Vet and follow prompts to complete your appointment request.
- Payment information is required, but will be waived for in-hospital visits
Additional steps we’re taking
We have transitioned to "No Contact Appointments” which allows you to stay in your vehicle while we treat your pet in our hospital.
Our team is monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local agencies to ensure the actions we're taking are in line with the latest CDC recommendations and guidance.
We are communicating regularly as a team to stay informed and to ensure everyone’s safety.
Our first priority remains keeping our team and clients safe and well-informed. We have devoted significant resources and efforts to help mitigate against possible adverse impacts from Covid-19 and will continue working hard to provide the level of care you have come to expect.
Stay safe and healthy,
The Doctors and Staff at Morristown Animal Hospital
